I’m slightly obsessed with horror movies. I’ll watch them all – the good, the bad and the gory – but zombie movies are my favorite. The best one I’ve seen recently is The Girl with All the Gifts.
What’s your favorite book and why?
My favorite book is A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole. This book made me laugh out loud when I read it a few years ago and still makes me smile to think of the characters today, especially the main character’s interaction at work with Miss Trixie. The book is also set in New Orleans, where I’m originally from, and the scene Toole sets of Uptown is spot on.
What’s the coolest place you’ve traveled to?
One of my favorite places that I’ve been to is Giant’s Causeway. It’s an area on the coast of Northern Ireland made of 40,000 interlocking hexagonal stones formed by a volcanic eruption. The legend goes that it was a road built by giants to connect Ireland and Scotland – and when you see it in person, it’s easy to imagine that to be true!
