MaassMedia Joins Hero Digital

Almost 10 years ago I founded a digital analytics consulting firm called MaassMedia to help big companies get more out of their data. A co-worker of mine at the company where I had been the Head of Ecommerce gave me my first big break with a monthly retainer to provide dedicated professional analytics services to his business unit. Since that day we have grown to become one of the leading digital analytics shops in the country, an achievement I attribute primarily to two factors:

  • Our extremely talented team of digital analysts, engineers and data scientists who possess that rare combination of math, marketing, creative, technical and analytics skills, who also go the extra mile and are passionate about solving problems with data;
  • Our wonderful clients who trust us with their data every day and allow us to help them push the envelope in finding innovative insights and solutions to their most pressing business, marketing and customer needs.

A few months ago, I was approached by a San Francisco-based full-service CX agency called Hero Digital about the idea of partnering with their organization.

From the beginning I was impressed by Hero Digital’s portfolio of clients (Western Digital, Sephora, Salesforce, and Microsoft, to name a few), their highly experienced leadership, and their 225+ person staff, all of whom are deeply versed in digital and feel passionately about proving the quality of their work.

Being an entrepreneur and running a business isn’t always easy. I am often looking for ways to scale. After hearing Hero Digital’s story and track record of success, I knew that the culture and opportunity to expand our services would be a great fit for both our staff and our clients.

For these reasons and more, I am very excited to announce that today MaassMedia will be joining the Hero Digital family. With so much demand for our digital analytics services, it just makes complete sense to become part of an ambitious, CX-focused company like Hero to keep growing our data and insights capabilities while continuing to serve our clients with the high standards of excellence for which we have come to be known.

Soon we will be transitioning our brand to Hero Digital. For me it’s the end of an amazing 10-year journey filled with all sorts of peaks and valleys. But at the same time, it’s the beginning of what I know will be a fantastic new adventure in a partnership that creates a powerful, independent data-driven agency able to serve the CX needs of any large enterprise from acquisition to loyalty.
